THERMO KING WARRANTY REPORT SR-2, SR-3, SR-4 CONTROL SYSTEM

This form applies to all Thermo King SR-2, SR-3 and SR-4 HMI Control Panels,  Base Controllers Interface Boards and Multi-Temperature Expansion Modules. All information must be completed. Use reverse side of form for additional space.

Failure Description – Required for Thermo King SR -2, SR-3, SR-4  Download the ServiceWatch Data Logger if appropriate. Enclose a printed report with the Warranty Claim if the data su. sorts the claim or should be considered durins failure anal sis. List failure symptoms in detail. Include customer complaint, obvious symptoms, and pertinent conditions. Note any defects that are not apparent on the Diagnostic Test Report such as HMI display issues or communication errors. Use reverse side if necessary.

IMPORTANT: The SR-2 and SR-3 Base Controller/Interface Board must be tested using the Thermo King Blue Diagnostic Tool
Service and Revision 4.0.0 software. The printed test results must be attached and submitted with this form.

If communications failures were present the CAN Test should be performed. A USB to CAN Adaptor and additional
cables are required to perform the CAN Test. See Service Bulletin TT556 for additional Diagnostic Tool details.
See the appropriate SR-2 or SR-3 Diagnostic Manual for additional test details.

The Blue Diagnostic Tool with Revision 4,0.0 Software, USB to CAN adaptor and additional cables will test all
versions of SR-2 and SR-3 Trailer Base Controllers/Interface Boards as well as all SR-2 and SR-3 Trailer HMI
Control Panels.

Thermoking Multi-Temperature Expansion Modules, SR-4 Base Controllers and Thermo King SR-4 HMI Control Panels cannot be tested
using the Diagnostic Tool.

Diagnostic Tool Test Results – Required for SR-2 SR-3 Ord
Connect the suspect SR-2 or SR-3 HMI Control Panel or Base Controller/Interface Board to the Thermo King  Blue Diagnostic
Tool supported with Revision 4.0.0 Software and perform the appropriate Diagnostic Test. If any communications
failures were present the CAN Test should be performed. A USB to CAN Adaptor and additional cables are
required to perform the CAN Test. The printed test results must be attached and submitted with this form. See
Service Procedure AO1A in the appropriate Diagnostic Manual for details.
